Wow- 13 whole grams? An ounce of weed weighs 28 grams. This guy gets labeled as felon for 13 grams of weed?! Whether you agree with legalizing weed or not-this is pure,unadulterated bullshit-it’s a freakin’ plant,people do not get addicted to weed-no one has ever died of an overdose of weed.Unlike heroin-which is killing young people at an alarming rate,is addictive,creates more crime because junkies will rob,steal,lie cheat,do anything for that next shot of dope-and we have to “War on drugs” focused on weed-WTF? Focus on meth and heroin-drugs that destroy lives,and stop sending people to jail/prison for weed. Weed helps people who are suffering in pain,it helps caner patients to eat,along with relieving their pain,it helps people with seizures. 

The war on drugs can not be “won”- whenever there is a demand for something-legal or illegal-someone will find a way to supply whatever product is in demand-prohibition proved that it didn’t work for alcohol-and it won’t work for drugs.

Pot smokers aren’t out robbing and stealing to support their drug habit-they’re not crashing cars while drunk,and killing themselves and others-it’s long past time to end the war on drugs,disband the DEA,stop seizing money from innocent people because banking law/rules/regs designed to catch drug dealers is not catching drug dealers-it’s catching small business owners who deposit money daily or weekly that fits the criteria of drug dealers depositing money in small amounts. No more felony charges for small amounts of weed,no more seizing cash beause of the way small business owners deposit their money,no more seizing cash during traffic stops-enough of this bullshit.
