After 27 days of antibiotics,which consisted of a 7 day course of an antibiotic which I can not recall the name of that did not help,followed by 2 10 day courses of levofloxacin and 3 in a row 21 dose courses of methylprednisolone,I’ve finally got rid of the upper respiratory infection that kicked my ass for over a month.

Damn near put me in the hospital,Dr.had me go back in for a follow up in 3 days-said he was going to put me in the hospital if there was no improvement. I was just starting the second 10 days of levofloxacin at the time,so 3 days in- it was 2 weeks before the levofloxacin started working.

My Dr. told me a lot of people are getting this bug,and it’s an especially virulent infection-which I knew-and that he’s already seeing cases of pneumonia.

Several friends got the same bug I had,they just got over it faster-maybe they listened to me when I told them to get to the Dr. ASAP if they caught this bug?

Anyhow,I’m feeling better,and getting energy back-more posts to follow tonight.
