The lack of interest in this class is simply astounding-go check out the cost of professional cooking courses-and remember,I am more than qualified to teach professional cooking classes my price is less than the deposit for most classes-and I’m providing a 3 day course that’s condensed because a lot of the material was going to be sent via e-mails prior to the class.
After many weeks of promoting the feeding your tribe cooking classes,the number of people who have committed to taking the class is so small,it’s simply not worth my time and effort to hold the class.
Should more people sign up for the class,it will still be held.
This is the last attempt I’m going to make to get people to attend the class.
I’ve already spent a considerable amount of time and effort to set up the class,and would really like to hold the class and pass on my knowledge of properly,safely cooking for large groups of people.
I’ll wait until March first,if there’s no one else who has sent in their deposit,the class will be canceled.

Would have loved to attend but live too far away to make 3 trips. If there is a way to hold all 3 in one long weekend, I am all in.

I can do that,if there’s enough people interested,also willing to travel-probably doing a class in S. Georgia soon,they have the place for me to hold the class,and a place I can camp out-I don’t mind sleeping in a tent-just getting enough people together to take the class.
If you can get a total of 8-16 people together,and have somewhere I can hold the class-I’ll come to your area to do a class.
Do that,and your cost for the class is zero.

Please resend details to my email. I will get it out to a few folks, and I am interested in attending, though of course, my ability to do so depends upon my ability to clear the schedule.
Anyone with a tribe to feed should definitely want this class.

The survival of my family is the highest priority (isn’t yours?), but that statement is ridiculous. The obvious hypocrisy displayed by the “Look at my tricked out AR and multicams” crowd is sickening. They want to say “I’m prepped”, but don’t want to actually put the effort into it (and it is effort). As far as this statement

is concerned, there is no “alienation”, it was more of a “We’re done here” after being stabbed in the back by someone I thought was a friend. As Gamegetter II and I have both learned in the last year or so, we need to be more careful of who we consider friends. You know what you did, but the “Why” still eludes me.

Really? Taking a weekend class once in a while is eating,sleeping and dreaming this shit?
The not unreasonable expectation that those who want training continue to do things like read the occasional article/blog post on a subject,and stick to a PT routine all on your own,and continue to practice the skills you were taught occasionally is eating,sleeping,and dreaming this shit?
In my case,I’m providing an opportunity that despite the failure of a huge number of people to comprehend,is in fact every bit as important as having a function rifle and ammo,and knowing how to use it without endangering those around you.
I’m offering to do this for far less than every other professional cooking course available anywhere in the USA.
I don’t expect people to have the level of interest in the subject that I do-then again,I’m the one who spent over 20 years doing this for a living,and I’m the one offering to share that knowledge and teach the skills needed to feed to people safely under less than ideal conditions.
Should we see this country enter some kind of collapse/SHTF situation,what you will see among those who have not bothered to learn even basic food safety is Chipotle’s foodborne illness X1,000,000.
Without first world medical care-a large part of those people will die-not to mention spread the illness around to a huge number of others-kinda like how a pandemic spreads.
