    So my tinnitus is nothing to do with the tens of thousands of rounds I fired.

    What a bunch of idiots.
    It also proves conclusively that paper qualifications and impressive titles don’t mean squat.

      Clueless idiots.
      I can’t sleep without either TV or radio in because ringing in my ears due to tinnitus is so bad. No one used earplugs when I started shooting. I used to shoot at least 50 shotgun shells a day in spring and summer so I would not muss rabbits, pheasants,quail,ducks and geese during fall and winter. Used to shoot 30-30, .308 and 30-06 at least 2-3 times a week too.Along with shooting woodchucks/groundhogs with a .22-250 all summer to keep’em from eating gardens. Plus probably around a million .22 rounds.
      After a decade or so of that- I have hearing issues.
      Although the wife claims when I’m in the woods hunting I can hear a mouse pissing on a cotton ball 150 yards away- but I can’t hear her when she tells me to take out the trash.
