Dear Darb,

The problem with your politics, more than anything else, is that you are supporting gun banners.

You *ARE* supporting gun banners, the Democratic party are gun banners, and Sen. Wyden and Sen. Merkley are gun banners, and the lesbian Gov. of Oregon is a gun banner.

Earl Blummenauer, your Representative, is a gun banner.

These are all people you have voted for, repeatedly, in Oregon, where you live.

This is a huge problem for me. The current focus of the gun-banning crowd is “ban the AR-15, ban high capacity magazines. ban Semi-Autos”

This isn’t academic for me, you are supporting politicians who want to force me to surrender my property to them, or else I become an insta-felon.

I define insta-felon as: what you become when, without taking any overt action, the government changes laws so that you suddenly guilty of a felony.

This is the stated goal…

Organization and Development of the Auxiliary

(Over the course of this blog’s life, I’ve received a lot of correspondence from those wondering how they fit into the concept of a resistance organization as the auxiliary, since they are “too old or infirm” to actively engage the regime’s security forces as members of the subversive underground or paramilitary guerrilla force. –J.M.)

The auxiliary includes, or may include all those individuals who are not full-time active participants in the paramilitary guerrilla force or the subversive underground, but who are sympathetic to the resistance or actively voice support to the resistance and are willing to lend assistance. Traditionally the activities of the auxiliary have been directed and controlled by the area command authority (For all you “leaderless resistance” believers out there, you’re going to have some variation of an area command authority, whether you want to believe it or not. Attempting to do anything without the…

The $1.3 Trillion spending bill President Trump just signed is both a financial and political travesty. From Justin O. Smith at theburningplatform.com:

As I listen to President Trump on his action of signing the current Omnibus bill, I am left with no other conclusion than he is really not as strong a leader as many seem to believe him to be. He signed this terrible $1.3 trillion bill for all the wrong reasons and lamented its exclusion of terrible other items, like DACA, but nowhere did he castigate these do-nothing “leaders” for adding a bad gun control act called “NICS”; this Omnibus bill is all smoke and mirrors and the 33 miles of added funding for border fencing is just that – a fence [barely], not a wall.

This bill continues to fund Planned Parenthood too. — Oh — And Sanctuary Cities Too. Really? What happened to all Trump’s talk…

What Happened to the Untreated Chronic Pain Crisis? – Pain Medicine News – Mar 2018 – By Joe H. Browder, MD

Though “Addiction has been part of the human condition as long as recorded history“, policymakers are reacting as though it were a new phenomenon arising from the use of prescription opioids.

Their clueless and cruel stupidity is depriving pain patients of the most effective treatments, namely opioid medication.

Simply stated, nothing has happened to the untreated chronic pain crisis. The same percentage of patients from the population still suffer from chronic, unrelenting pain.

I just found this and couldn’t wait to publish it:

From the American Journal of Public Health comes a document that admits that the CDC has miscounted “prescription opioid deaths”  because they have been lumped together with “illicit opioid deaths” to create a huge number of total “opioid deaths”.

I can only access the first page of the article and it’s only an image, so I typed most of the text into this post by hand:

The data clearly shows that the rise in overdose numbers is not affected by the brutal and cruel decrease in prescribing these most effective pain-relieving drugs.

This chart from ATIPUSA.org shows what’s been happening since the number of prescriptions peaked in 2012:

Why Untreated Chronic Pain is a Medical Emergency

Alex DeLuca, M.D., FASAM, MPH;Written testimony submitted to the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs regarding the “Gen Rx: Abuse of Prescription and OTC Drugs” hearing; 2008–03–08.

Untreated Chronic Pain is Acute Pain

The physiological changes associated with acute pain, and their intimate neurological relationship with brain centers controlling emotion, and the evolutionary purpose of these normal bodily responses, are classically understood as the “Fight or Flight” reaction,

When these adaptive physiologic responses outlive their usefulness the fight or flight response becomes pathological, leading to chronic cardiovascular stress, hyperglycemia which both predisposes to and worsens diabetes, splanchnic vasoconstriction leading to impaired digestive function and potentially to catastrophic consequences such as mesenteric insufficiency.
