Three More Days and Work Returns to “Normal” Hours
Posted: June 9, 2017 by gamegetterII in UncategorizedA house roof, skylight and garage roof turned into ten days of work because of the extra stuff the customer wanted done. I don’t think they had anyone to do any work on the houses for a lot of years. The list just kept growing daily. Now I’m down to a big deck that’s gonna take probably 3 days, then this 24/7 12 plus hours a day shit is over.
On the plus side- humping 80# bundles of shingles up a ladder is like working out, so was loading them all onto a trailer at the roofing supply. They couldn’t load them onto trailer with forklift so I just stacked them onto trailer myself. Definitely not something I want to do regularly- once or twice a year is enough of that.
Next-and last roof I do is our house this fall.

The Sykes–Picot Agreement formalized the British and French spheres of influence in the Middle East and set the stage for the French Mandate for Syria and the Lebanon, which ran from 1923 to 1946. In 1936, Ali Sulayman al-Assad, grandfather of Syrian President Bashir Assad, and other Alawite notables petitioned French President Leon Blum, in an attempt to…
