What do I go out and procure for on foot mobile comms for a citizen small unit infantry team for inter squad and checking in periodically with a home base system in the Appalachian Mtn range?
Keep it simple, rugged and primitive as possible.
In Mountains or other hilly terrain, 2M works best. The most rugged, yet inexpensive set I’m aware of is the Icom V80.

Smokin Joe got his rock n roll start in NE Ohio,guy who was my boss at one time went to college with him,Joe used to track Bob down when he came to town,and would usually go into whatever hotel or restaurant Bob was running the kitchen in and show up at lunch and order a cheeseburger and the most expensive bottle of wine we had.

TIME: No demands have been made by FBI to vacate facility. Bundy will not vacate until his demands are met.
