Lacey, Wash. – A teacher at the North Thurston High School is being credited with stopping an active shooter situation that happened at the school Monday morning.

A radio call came in to the Lacey police from a school resource officer at approximately 7:30 a.m. stating that there was an active shooter situation in progress at the school, according to King 5 News.

Only moments later the resource officer called back to inform the police the shooter was in custody and that no one was hurt during the incident.

Initial reports are crediting a Mr. Olson with stopping the shooter, according to KIRO 7 News.
The teacher reportedly tackled the student, a 15- or 16-year-old boy, after the student allegedly fired multiple shots into the air in a common area of the school, according to police.

“I think it’s heroic. I think it’s guttural. People rise to the occasion when they need to do something. I think, in this case, it probably prevented worse things from happening,” said Commander Chris Ward, Lacey Police.

This week it was reported that the office manager for anti-drug Senator Thad Cochran was caught importing meth from China, to allegedly sell and trade for sexual favors.

The Senate staffer, Fred W. Pagan, was arrested this week after a raid on his home where police found 181.5 grams of meth. Pagan allegedly admitted to importing the drug. He also admitted to receiving a number of other shipments in the past, including one package that included over a kilo of GHB, the infamous “date rape drug.” These drugs are arguably among the most dangerous on the market.

Pagan has been under government surveillance since April 9th when one of his packages was intercepted by customs agents in Ohio. That package was addressed to him and contained over a kilo of GHB.

While being interviewed by investigators, Pagan also attempted to divert the blame from himself by saying that he was receiving the drugs for a distributor that was using his address to avoid detection. So far, no information has been revealed about the distributor and it has not been confirmed that this person even exists. However, it is likely assumed that Pagan was in business with a number of different people to be able to carry out such a large-scale operation.

Denver, Colorado – A victim of sex trafficking has come forward to reveal that police are many times instrumental in sex trafficking operations.

Jessa Dillow-Crisp recently testified at the Colorado State Capitol, during Human Trafficking Awareness and Advocacy Day, about the horrible experiences that she had in her past.

“I was a little girl and was sexually abused by family members. I had to pose for pornographers and was sold to countless men on a daily basis,” she said.

To make matters even more hopeless for the woman, she was unable to report the abuse or go to the police because there were a number of police officers who were actually involved in the kidnapping and abuse.

“There was gang raping, the police officer who handcuffed me and raped me, told me I would be put in jail if I opened my voice,” she said.

“I had somebody very close to me tortured and she eventually died in front of my eyes. This stuff happens and I’m here to tell you the reality of its existence,” she added.

Now that the victim has gone public with her story, there are a number of state and federal law enforcement agencies involved with her case. They have confirmed the woman’s version of events through their own research. The agencies have also reported a number of arrests, and a number of victims recovered in the state of Colorado alone.
