In America, the president is not actually in control of the affairs and policies of the government, but a mere shadow of competing interests, none of which represents directly that of We, the People.

As many know by now, the Deep State’s financial power and influence are leveraged in part on the petrodollar that is itself anchored on the oil production of Saudi Arabia, among other smaller oil producers in the region, and in the war industry itself. Both sectors are now being compromised.

Bullets: Chunky and Slow vs. Fast and Light

Posted: March 10, 2019 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

Some people worship at the altar of the .45 ACP, as it is the biggest pistol bullet. “I would carry a .46 except they don’t make one. The .45 doesn’t just stop the bad guy; it kills his soul…” and the list of trite sayings goes on and on. Other people proudly proclaim their heresy and pack 15-20 rounds of Euro pellets in their plastic fantastic. “The Army switched from the .45 to the 9mm, so it must be great. The only time you have too many bullets is if you are swimming or on fire. I can miss 2/3 of the time and still get as many hits as your 1911…”

Brittany Caton with a Glock 9mm handgun in a Tiffany blue Kydex holster

Instructor Brittany Caton trusts here Glock 19 9mm. With careful load selection, the 9mm is a great defensive caliber.

Let’s just say, I am not a fan boy in either camp. There are great options in both categories and the gun you should carry—bet your life on—is the one you know and trust. The one with which you have mastered the manual of arms and are competent to hit with—frequently and fast. It should also be a gun you can/will carry with you all of the time; and I don’t mean in your glove box. That little caveat puts more pocket .38 specials and .380 ACP’s into action than any other part of choosing a carry gun.

Basic Truths

The .45 ACP (.451) is bigger and provides a larger entry hole than a 9mm (.355). However, upon expansion, modern jacketed hollow points from tier-one bullet makers don’t show a huge difference. The 230-grain .45 penetrates based on bullet weight more than velocity. The lack of velocity often restricts the amount of expansion and some JHP bullets barely expand while others open phenomenally. A thorough study that I was once privy to compared over 20 choices. There were many in the non-expansion category, a slightly larger group in the .55- to.70-inch range and two just breaking .80 inch—Federal 230-grain HST and Federal Tactical bonded +P. One overachiever hit a full one-inch of expansion (Winchester 230-grain Ranger T series). All three named bullets averaged roughly 14.5 inches of penetration.”

War to the Knife

Great post at The Declination – read the whole thing – and the links in the post.

Just replace China with America – and it’s a perfect description of what todays American left is doing…

“The revolution was conducted against the entire collection of established institutions in Chinese society. Particular focus was placed on eradicating religious symbols, monuments and organizations, as well as any institution that had roots in the past, as China’s pre-Communist history was treated as an endless litany of evil acts whose legacy could only have a malign influence in the future unless completely stamped out.”

Stop the anti-climate science totalitarians

Posted: March 9, 2019 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

“They want to upend and transform America, but demand No Debate on underlying “science”

Paul Driessen

Democrats, climate campaigners and renewable energy interests are in full outrage mode over news that President Trump intends to launch a Presidential Committee on Climate Science. He should do it now.

The PCCS would, at long last, review and question the “dangerous manmade climate change” reports by federal agencies and investigations funded by them. The committee would be led by Dr. Will Happer, a highly respected scientist and well known skeptic – not of climate change, but of manmade climate chaos. He would be joined by other prominent experts– of whom there are many – who share his doubts.

No way! the climate alarmists rant. How dare you question our disaster claims? Our settled science?

No! How dare YOU use those claims to justify your agenda – and your continued efforts to bludgeon and silence us into submission – without letting anyone examine, much less debate, your supposed evidence?

For years, you have loudly and incessantly asserted that the United States and world must end fossil fuel use, or we are “doomed.” Now you’re demanding that the United States completely upend its energy production, transportation and manufacturing sectors, housing and office buildings, and entire economy. You want the federal government to control and limit our lives, choices and living standards – and redistribute our wealth, even to those “unwilling to work,” according to confiscatory socialist principles.

For years, you Democrats, environmentalists, Deep State bureaucrats, government-grant-dependent scientists, news and social media have colluded to censor and silence manmade climate chaos skeptics, and stifle any debate. All of you have huge financial, reputational and power stakes in this.

Your Climate Industrial Complex is a $2-trillion-per-year global behemoth. Your Green New Deal would cost this nation up to $93 trillion by 2030 – sticking every US family with a $65,000 annual bill.

Did you hear the scary news? The Transportation Security Administration seized a military-style rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher at a Pennsylvania airport! Thanks goodness for the TSA’s diligence, otherwise we might have had a Grand Theft Autorampage-style situation on our hands

Except, this news is not entirely true. One might even call it fake.

According to a TSA press release, a Florida man flying from Lehigh Valley International Airport to Orlando checked a bag containing “unassembled parts of a rocket propelled grenade launcher and grenade.” It’s not until midway through the release that the TSA notes “the device was not a functioning launcher and the grenade itself was determined to be a realistic replica.” The TSA claims (incorrectly) that “no realistic or replica weapons” of any kind are allowed on planes, even if they’re in checked luggage. In reality, firearms and ammunition are permitted, though RPG launchers are not.”

The Experiment, by Robert Gore

Robert Gore's avatarSTRAIGHT LINE LOGIC

How much longer will the middle class politely tolerate its own destruction?

A middle class that outnumbers the combined poor and aristocracy is a relatively new phenomenon, dating back to around 1900. The rise of the middle class was the result of Industrial Revolution capitalism. It has been one of the most significant and epochal developments in history, yet the intellectual reaction for the most part has been to either ignore it or treat it with disdain. Now the project to destroy the middle class is well under way, with unpredictable and uncontrollable consequences that promise to be just as epochal as its creation.

Intellectual condescension towards the middle class is so common it’s a cliché. What’s rare are attempts to go back in history and see things through the perspectives of that despised group and its progenitors, the poor.

In 1800, virtually everyone was poor, living under conditions of…
