There was an interesting article on https://townhall.com by Justin Haskins for 1/28/19. Mr. Haskins analyzed the content of what passes for education in institutions of “higher learning” but also in K-12 public schools too.

He wrote: “The real question isn’t whether these socialist tendencies exist, but rather why they exist.” He then goes into some of the reasons why they exist. He observes (and I think he’s right on the money here) that: “As important as bias on college campuses is, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Much of the problem goes back much further, to K-12 schools where only 27 percent of teachers identify as Republicans, according to a national survey by the Education Week Research Center. Not only are K-12 teachers more likely to vote for Democrats and favor left-wing causes, socialist ideas permeate nearly…

The Central Questions

Posted: February 12, 2019 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

Shit like this is part of an orchestrated effort at undermining gun rights.

(More below excerpt from story)

“Courts are issuing an unprecedented number of orders to seize firearms from people they deem to be mentally ill or threats to others, following a rash of state-level legislation aimed at curbing mass shootings across the country.

Even as conservatives sound the alarm about potential Second Amendment violations, supporters — sometimes across party lines — say these “red flag” laws are among the most promising tools to reduce the nearly 40,000 suicides and homicides by firearm each year in the country.

“I think we’re seeing a building consensus in blue states and red states that this is a good way to balance public safety against people’s Second Amendment rights,” Jaron Lindbaum, a representative of the activist grop Washington Ceasefire, told Fox News.

CONNECTICUT DEM INTRODUCES 50 PERCENT TAX ON AMMO

Nine states have passed laws over the past year allowing police or household members to seek court orders requiring people deemed threatening to temporarily surrender their guns, bringing the total to 14. Several more are likely to follow in the months ahead.”

I wrote about this kind of shit back when Obama was still president.

Bloomberg $$$, state level efforts to undermine gun rights.

Plenty of others have written about it who have way more influence and reach way more people than I do.

The anti-gun zealots know they can’t win at the national level…yet.

They also know the NRA will likely “compromise” rather than fight this bullshit.

Under these so- called red flag gun laws, your crazy cat lady aunt,

( full fledged member of “resist”, Bernie and Occasional Cortex supporter, me too supporter, open borders supporter, pro unlimited religion of pieces immigration, etc)

who gets all torqued up at a family gathering when you explain you have the right to defend your wife, daughters, and property – by deadly force if neccessary against the increasing number of criminals she supports importing, stews about your comments overnight.

Mon. morning she calls the local police dept. and reports that you are unstable and a danger to yourself and others – and that you have an “aresenal” and a “stockpile” of ammo.

At zero dark thirty Tues am…

Flash bangs are lauched through your windows…

Your front and back doors are kicked in at the same time…

No one announces “police- come out with your hands up” ( or any such similar nonsense)

You grab your .45 and your A-R because you are under attack.

As you come down the hallway out of the bedroom, you look around the corner into your living room just in time to see the stormtroopers shoot Spot and Fido…

You see 5 guys in full “tactical gear” complete with facemasks…

At that moment – you notice the red laser dots on your chest…

You start to retreat back into the hallway, so you can get to cover, thinking “these fuckers are gonna shoot me”

That’s the last thought you ever had…

Because they did shoot you.

All 5 of them did mag dumps into you.

All because your crazy aunt believes the 24/7 propaganda spewed by media like MSLSD, CNN, NPR, that you were “a threat”.

When someone can call the “authorities” and said “authorities” respond by kicking in doors, shooting dogs – and in many cases – shooting the homeowner…we have a serious problem.

The problem is not gun owners – the problem is not even your crazy cat lady aunt -( that’s a whole ‘nother problem)

The problem is a government that enacts shitty “laws” like this, and the police that just enforce this crap without questioning it.

Red flag gun laws = legal “SWATing”.

These laws are a back door means to gun confiscation.

Ya’ll better wake the fuck up and start working to stop this shit.

Or you can just sit around and wonder what happened to your freedoms, your liberty, and why “muh constitution” didn’t protect those freedoms.

They hate you. They want to take all your guns.

They want you to be in total submission to the state.

Don’t believe me?

Why are many of you being taxed for freakin rain water?

Why are many of you told standard capacity magazines are now illegal because they are “high capacity magazines”?

Why are you being forced to submit to often both state level and NICS prove your innocence checks before you can buy a gun?

Why are you being put in databases of CCW permit holders?

Why are the anti- gun zealots pushing for universal prove your innocence checks?

Why are the ant-gun zealots pushing for absurd ammo taxes?

Why are the anti-gun zealots pushing to ban private gun sales?

Why do they want to make it illegal for you to loan a rifle or handgun to a friend or family member?

They are not going to stop.

Fight back.

Last Friday the Houston Police Department released the inventory of items seized during the January 28 drug raidthat killed a middle-aged couple and injured five narcotics officers. Strikingly absent is any evidence that Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas were selling drugs from their house at 7815 Harding Street, notwithstanding Police Chief Art Acevedo’s portrayal of them as scary, heavily armed, locally notorious heroin dealers.

According to the warrant affidavit, a confidential informant bought heroin from a man matching Tuttle’s description at the house the day before the raid, when he reported seeing a “large quantity of plastic baggies” containing heroin. Instead police found “approximately 18 grams of marijuana” and “approximately 1.5 grams of an unknown white powder” that Acevedo later identified as cocaine. These are personal use quantities that are not consistent with drug dealing. Nor did police find any equipment, supplies, or cash indicative of drug sales. The inventory does not mention scales, bags, or heroin paraphernalia. It does not even mention the police-supplied money that the C.I. supposedly used to buy heroin from Tuttle, which should have been identifiable by serial numbers recorded before the purchase.

The other four items in the inventory are guns: a 20-gauge Beretta ALS shotgun, a 12-gauge Remington 1100 shotgun, a Remington 700 bolt-action rifle, and a .22-caliber Winchester 190 semi-automatic rifle. The list does not include the .357 Magnum revolver that police say Tuttle fired at the officers who broke into his home, shot his dog, and killed his wife. Nor does it mention the 9mm semi-automatic handgun that the C.I. supposedly saw in the house the day before, which apparently disappeared along with the heroin and the money.”

Robert Gore's avatarSTRAIGHT LINE LOGIC

In Washington, nothing succeeds like failure, and there have been few bigger failures than our government’s regime change attempts. Which means everyone’s on board for the latest regime change effort, Venezuela. From Medea Benjamin and Nicolas J.S. Davies at antiwar.com:

In his masterpiece, Killing Hope: U.S. Military and C.I.A. Interventions Since World War II, William Blum, who died in December 2018, wrote chapter-length accounts of 55 US regime change operations against countries around the world, from China (1945-1960s) to Haiti (1986-1994). Noam Chomsky’s blurb on the back of the latest edition says simply, “Far and away the best book on the topic.” We agree. If you have not read it, please do. It will give you a clearer context for what is happening in Venezuela today, and a better understanding of the world you are living in.

Since Killing Hope was published in 1995, the US has conducted at…

Three years after Apple refused to give the federal government access to the devices used by the San Bernadino terrorists who killed and injured dozens in a mass shooting event, the company has given the office of the Special Counsel complete access to Trump advisor Roger Stone’s iCloud account, reports Apple Insider.

According to the Washington Post, Apple objected to giving the federal government backdoor access to the shooters iPhones, claiming it would “set a dangerous precedent.”

“From the beginning, we objected to the FBI’s demand that Apple build a backdoor into the iPhone because we believed it was wrong and would set a dangerous precedent. As a result of the government’s dismissal, neither of these occurred. This case should never have been brought.”

Fast forward to present, and we see that Apple no longer seems to have the same privacy concerns it once did in 2015. Without any…

I’m excited to add a new class to the course schedule for the Fall- Basic Man Tracking on 7-8 September 2019. The class will be instructed by Holy Serf, a retired LEO, 82nd Airborne Combat Engineer and Medic, Wilderness First Responder and EMT, and having run this same course to professional law enforcement and search and rescue teams for many years. He has trained with some of the very best names in this field and this course is coming by request. It’s a sorely lacking fieldcraft skill by a large number of people.

His write up:

Basic Human Tracking Course will cover the basic foundation of human tracking using the “Ab Taylor Step-By-Step” method. This method is presently taught to the military, search & rescue and law enforcement. There will be short PowerPoint programs in the mornings and the remaining times will be in the field in various tracking…

Alex Newman has written an excellent article in the February 4th issue of The New American magazine entitled From Educational Excellence To Mediocrity
in which he brings up several issues I have also dealt with in the past.

He noted that the Puritans in Massachusetts were “outliers in America” in the area of having the government start to enact governmental education laws. For all the good things the Puritans may have done, in this one critical area, the promotion of governmental education laws was a horrible mistake. In fact, labeling it as a grievous error would not be an exaggeration.

Mr. Newman has written: “The first giant step away from traditional, classical, Christian education toward socialistic and humanistic indoctrination and the dumbing down of American education began under Horace Mann. In 1837, again in Massachusetts, Mann was appointed…
