“If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” That is an adage that many of us have heard. However, in this day of media loyalty to the Democratic party, some people might need a verbal slap in the face to understand that they are believing propaganda and outright lies. The left has abandoned civility. Maybe it is time to follow suit. Niceties be damned.

You voted for a President who shut down gas and oil pipelines, stopped work on other pipelines, shut down exploration and extraction from oil rich areas, and is beholden to the extremist environmentalist groups, but you believe when says he is not at fault for gas prices going up. Are you stupid?

You watched as President Biden and the Democrat controlled Senate raised the debt limit and passed giant spending bills ($1.9T American Rescue Plan…

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings

Middle Earth had its Mount Doom, into which the One Ring of Power could be tossed, ridding that evil from J.R.R. Tolkien’s fictional setting. Real Earth is not so fortunate, but in all other aspects the lessons drawn from his classic apply. It only comes up short in one respect. Tolkien never delved into the psychology of Sauron, Saruman, and the lessor denizens of Middle Earth who lusted after the One Ring’s power, other than to depict the inevitable corruption of the soul their lust produced.

There are two conclusions uncorrupted souls have difficulty accepting, although both experience and logic point uncompromisingly towards them. The first is that those in power and those who lust for it want power for power’s…

“You see them on the street. You watch them on TV. You might even vote for one this fall. You think they’re people just like you. You’re wrong.Dead wrong.” —They Live

We’re living in two worlds.

There’s the world we see (or are made to see) and then there’s the one we sense (and occasionally catch a glimpse of), the latter of which is a far cry from the propaganda-driven reality manufactured by the government and its corporate sponsors, including the media.

Indeed, what most Americans perceive as life in America—privileged, progressive and free—is a far cry from reality, where economic inequality is growing, real agendas and real power are buried beneath layers of Orwellian doublespeak and corporate obfuscation, and “freedom,” such that it is, is meted out in small, legalistic doses by militarized police and federal agents armed to the teeth.

All is not as it seems.

Getting Out There

Have you taken a CPR Course?

How many times have you heard someone say, “I’d like to meet like-minded people, but I’m worried that everyone is a Fed”? I hear it every week, and to be fair, I begin every class I teach with “For the Fed who is inevitably among us reporting on this class…..”. We’re all a little gun-shy (pun intended) right now of meeting each other face to face and transacting any kind of commerce that could be construed as remotely right-leaning.

That’s entirely BY DESIGN. High-profile arrests, search warrants, and raids, along with what can only be described as harassment and humiliation (stopping people leaving restaurants with family to seize phones with no explanation) are meant to make you wary of organizing in any way.

You know what I think? SCREW THEM. Do it anyway. Let them waste hundreds of man hours listening to us drone…

The following was sent to me from a friend of mine who is a hunting guide every fall up in Alaska. He’s also very accomplished and experienced in primitive living and survival skills and is at home in the outdoors as most people are in their living rooms. I’ve had the pleasure to have him at both of my Fieldcraft classes this year and he’s been a great addition to the classes both times. A trip like the one describedbelow, where you are completely isolated and on your own, with nothing to rely on except your knowledge and your equipment, is exactly the kind of adventure I had in mind when designing this knifeand I’m happy to hear it worked as intended.– Badlands Rifleman

On a recent trip to Alaska I was fortunate enough to receive a knife from Badlands Fieldcraft, a small knife maker in…

“You know, when police start becoming their own executioners, where’s it gonna end? Pretty soon, you’ll start executing people for jaywalking, and executing people for traffic violations. Then you end up executing your neighbor ‘cause his dog pisses on your lawn.”—“Dirty Harry” Callahan,Magnum Force

When I say that warrior cops—hyped up on their own authority and the power of the badge—have not made America any safer or freer, I am not disrespecting any of the fine, decent, lawful police officers who take seriously their oath of office to serve and protect their fellow citizens, uphold the Constitution, and maintain the peace.

My concern rests with the cops who feel empowered to act as judge, jury and executioner.

These death squads believe they can kill, shoot, taser, abuse and steal from American citizens in the so-called name of law and order.

Just recently, in fact, a rookie copopened fire…

“If you can’t say ‘F@#k’ you can’t say, ‘F@#k’ the government.’”— Lenny Bruce, comedian

Anti-government speech has become a four-letter word.

In more and more cases, the government is declaring war on what should be protected political speech whenever it challenges the government’s power, reveals the government’s corruption, exposes the government’s lies, and encourages the citizenry to push back against the government’s many injustices.

Indeed, there is a long and growing list of the kinds of speech that the government considers dangerous enough to red flag and subject to censorship, surveillance, investigation and prosecution: hate speech, conspiratorial speech, treasonous speech, threatening speech, inflammatory speech, radical speech, anti-government speech, extremist speech, etc.

Things are about to get even dicier for those who believe in fully exercising their right to political expression.

Indeed, thegovernment’s seditious conspiracy chargesagainst Stewart Rhodes, the founder of Oath Keepers, and several of his associates for…

Legislation recently filed in Congress shows that the assurances pro-convention lobbyists have been making to State Legislators to induce them to apply to Congress for Congress to call a Convention under Article V of our Constitution are false.

These lobbyists have convinced too many State Legislators that our Framers said that when the federal government violates the Constitution, the solution is to get a convention to amend the Constitution. Our Framers never said such a silly thing But that is what is behind the push for an Article V convention.

Article V of our Constitution provides two methods of amending the Constitution 1) Congress may propose amendments by two-thirds majority in both Houses; or 2) Congress, upon the applications of two-thirds of the State Legislatures, calls a convention where the Delegates may propose amendments. The second method has never been used –…
