by Al Benson Jr.

Just yesterday I read an article by Lee Duigon on https://newswithviews.com about the continuing leftist revolution that goes on daily in those government indoctrination centers we refer to as public schools. He referred to two public school systems, one in Boston, the other in Sacramento, California.

Of the Boston school system he wrote: “An ‘academic dean’ in the Boston Public School system has pleaded guilty to racketeering. One Shaun Harrison, 63 years old, shot a student. It turns out Mr. Harrison belonged to the Latin Kings street gang and was using his position in the schools to recruit more members for the gang.” Sounds unbelievable right? Then Mr. Duigon asked some penetrating questions. He wrote: “Did no one in that school district, know, or at least suspect, that this dean might be of a dubious character? Who interviewed him for the job? Who checked his record?…

The Limits Of History

Sarah A. Hoyt's avatarAccording To Hoyt

I’m a fan of history. As in, it’s been one of my favorite reading genres since I was ten or so and found mom’s old history schoolbooks.

I like that people in the past aren’t forgotten, and also to see how things happened, and how they were done, way back in the past.

I still buy so many history books that for a while there — back in the dark ages, when you had to order from History Book Club for the stuff your bookstore wouldn’t even carry — I could have made my paycheck over to the History Book Club.

I think I was in my thirties before I realized the books weren’t history. They were “agreed upon interpretation of history.”

The agreed upon was important for me at the time, because I was mostly writing historical stuff, and the agreed upon version is the safe one, if you…

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” — President Harry S. Truman

Militarized police. Riot squads. Camouflage gear. Black uniforms. Armored vehicles. Mass arrests. Pepper spray. Tear gas. Batons. Strip searches. Surveillance cameras.Kevlar vests. Drones.Lethal weapons.Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force.Rubber bullets. Water cannons. Stun grenades. Arrests of journalists.Crowd control tactics. Intimidation tactics. Brutality. Lockdowns.

This is not the language of freedom. This is not even the language of law and order.

This is the language of force.

This is how the government at all levels—federal, state and local—now responds to those who speak out against government corruption, misconduct…

Initial impressions of the ESEE PR-4 as a field knife

Badlands Rifleman's avatarBadlands Fieldcraft

A customer sent me this knife to build a sheath for and I thought I’d put some thoughts down. This isn’t exactly a review, just some of my thoughts on the design and construction of the knife.

The particular knife I received looked like it was nearly brand new and came with a nice looking leather sheath. I’m not sure if this sheath was the original, it looks similar to the one on ESEE’s website but it has a few differences. It’s a nicely made and high quality sheath, but at the end of the day it’s still a pouch style leather sheath, and as much as I love the aesthetic of leather, kydex is my choice for a serious carry belt knife.

The knife itself is 1/8” full tang 1095 high carbon with a 2/3 saber grind. That’s the same grind I put on my own knives and it’s…

Eric Scott Kindley, prison guard that sexually assaulted inmates from 2012 to 2017

Kindlay sexually assaulted a woman he was transporting in 2014, and in 2017 he used a firearm in another sexual assault of another woman that was in his custody, but there are other reports that date back as far as 2012. Little Rock prison guard sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting inmates. Why wasn’t he arrested sooner?

A broadcast over Trinity Radio told that the Department of Justice reported that a Little Rock Arkansas prison guard, Eric Scott Kindlay, was sentenced to life in prison and five years. The Office of Public Affairs released the news back in March of 2020 that the transport officer assaulted two women that were in his custody. Kindlay sexually assaulted a woman he was transporting in 2014, and in 2017 he used a firearm in another sexual assault…

“With the cost of doing business at the range going up every time it rains, I decided that casting lead bullets from scrap might be worth the endeavor. I spoke with a friend about getting started. We exchanged many emails and spent several hours on the phone getting me prepped to turn lead wheel weights into semi-wadcutters as fodder for my Government Models.

Lyman has been making casting equipment for some time and many swear by it. So, I decided to start with the Lyman Master Casting Kit. The initial kit was inexpensive, which was also a factor. When starting any new hobby, there is always the chance it won’t go as expected. I did not want a huge cash layout only to find out that casting would not be for me.”

“Garcia claims that the “woke left” is running the country. He specifically targets the DOJ Civil Rights Division. He insinuates the low morale at the ATF and in law enforcement, in general, is because of the anti-law enforcement movement that he feels is being pushed by the administration and Joe Biden’s Attorney General. Making the world safe for transgenderism and mandatory vaccinations don’t seem to be drawing them in like honor, patriotism, and tradition used to. From P. Michael Phillips, Ph.D. at brownstone.org:

Replenishing the military ranks with qualified personnel is a perennial challenge. It’s no secret, though, that this year our armed forces are fighting uphill to recruit and retain talent.

Most of the services are well behind their quotas. But the Army, our largest service, is having the hardest time enticing young Americans. That service will fall short, nearly 20,000 troops from its original target end strength of 485,000 for FY ’22, and next year could be worse.

To manage, Army officials have slashed end strength and enlistment goals, while recruiters are offering fat stacks of cash and generous service terms as inducements.

So far, nothing is working.

The Army’s Chief of Staff, General James McConville, blames the…

“Every day in communities across the United States, children and adolescents spend the majority of their waking hours in schools that have increasingly come toresemble places of detentionmore than places of learning.”—Investigative journalist Annette Fuentes

This is what it means to go back-to-school in America today.

Instead of making the schools safer, government officials are making them more authoritarian.

Instead of raising up a generation of civic-minded citizens with critical thinking skills, government officials are churning out compliant drones who know little to nothing about their history or their freedoms.

And instead of being taught the three R’s of education (reading, writing and arithmetic), young people are being drilled in the three I’s of life in the American police state: indoctrination, intimidation and intolerance.

From the moment a child entersone of the nation’s 98,000 public schoolsto the moment he or she graduates, they will be exposed…
