“But these weren’t the kind of monsters that had tentacles and rotting skin, the kind a seven-year-old might be able to wrap his mind around—they were monsters with human faces, in crisp uniforms, marching in lockstep, so banal you don’t recognize them for what they are until it’s too late.” ― Ransom Riggs, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Enough already.

Enough with the distractions. Enough with the partisan jousting.

Enough with the sniping and name-calling and mud-slinging that do nothing to make this country safer or freer or more just.

We have let the government’s evil-doing, its abuses, power grabs, brutality, meanness, inhumanity, immorality, greed, corruption, debauchery and tyranny go on for too long.

We are approaching a reckoning.

This is the point, as the poet W. B. Yeats warned, when things fall apart and anarchy is loosed upon the world.

We have seen this convergence before in Hitler’s Germany, in Stalin’s Russia, in Mussolini’s Italy, and in Mao’s China: the rise of strongmen and demagogues, the ascendency of profit-driven politics over deep-seated principles, the warring nationalism that seeks to divide and conquer, the callous disregard for basic human rights and dignity, and the silence of people who should know better.

Yet no matter how many times the world has been down this road before, we can’t seem to avoid repeating the deadly mistakes of the past.

This is not just playing out on a national and international scale. It is wreaking havoc at the most immediate level, as well, creating rifts and polarities within families and friends, neighborhoods and communities that keep the populace warring among themselves and incapable of presenting a united front in the face of the government’s goose-stepping despotism.

We labor today under the weight of countless tyrannies, large and small, disguised as “the better good,” marketed as benevolence, enforced with armed police, and carried out by an elite class of government officials who are largely insulated from the ill effects of their actions.

For too long now, the American people have rationalized turning a blind eye to all manner of government wrongdoing—asset forfeiture schemes, corruption, surveillance, endless wars, SWAT team raids, militarized police, profit-driven private prisons, and so on—because they were the so-called lesser of two evils.

Yet the unavoidable truth is that the government—through its acts of power grabs, brutality, meanness, inhumanity, immorality, greed, corruption, debauchery and tyranny—has become almost indistinguishable from the evil it claims to be fighting, whether that evil takes the form of terrorism, torture, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, murder, violence, theft, pornography, scientific experimentations or some other diabolical means of inflicting pain, suffering and servitude on humanity.

At its core, this is not a debate about politics, or constitutionalism, or even tyranny disguised as law-and-order. This is a condemnation of the monsters with human faces who walk among us.

Many of them work for the U.S. government.”

A Time of Lawlessness – by T.L. Davis

Posted: October 22, 2023 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

“Very soon the kinetic aspect of WWIII will kick off and the international entanglements of the Biden Administration will become obviously treasonous. It might not even take the actual entry of the war to mark it. As soon as the Israeli ground attack starts, the United States will come apart from within by the recently demonstrated Palestinian forces already here, brought in over the past two years of open borders. If not them, some other hostile forces. The U.S. is weak in every way one wants to measure it, except in its domestic fighting forces that are being kept under surveillance and under suspicion.

The police, as part of the globalist apparatus, will be unable to deal with the violence and they’ll just let it burn. They’ll stand about in their flak jackets and kick the smoldering ashes into a tighter, more orderly pile. We saw it in Portland, Seattle and Minneapolis. This is the Rashida Talib, Black Lives Matter domestic terrorists back in the saddle. Perhaps the George Floyd riots were probing actions, sensing where it can be most effective. Guess what? It’s most effective in any major city. What happens when it takes place in every single one at the same time?

The question is not what will happen, but what will happen after it comes apart? There is no political will anywhere in this bastardized nation to do anything about anything that is not targeted at law-abiding, tax-paying citizens. The allies of the establishment will burn it all down and we will be expected to pay for it to be rebuilt, but now that isn’t as easy as it has been in the past.

At the same time as all of this is taking place, the average American will be struggling to pay for their rents, mortgages and groceries. Businesses will not be able to borrow the money it takes to expand and will even have to cut back on employees and services because the costs of maintaining their business will go up. Every line of credit will see interest rates double and triple that of the previous period. This is because the 10 Year Treasury just topped 5%. Even though it pulled back a little bit, that is why the stock market took a dive on Friday. Five percent is what the banks have to pay the Fed. Bank of America just admitted to having $136 billion in unrealized losses (bonds they can’t redeem) and to keep them from being realized, intends to hold those bonds until maturity instead of dumping them on the Fed and taking the loss. That’s $136 billion in lost liquidity. Which means, Bank of America and others of the same size are currently sitting on enormous amounts of unrealized debts that they will try to hold, but eventually they will need the cash and all hell will be unloosed.”

“Here are a few lessons that we never learned or learned too late.

Mammoth legislation that expands the government’s powers at the citizenry’s expense will not make anyone safer. Rushed through Congress a mere 45 days after the 9/11 attacks, the USA Patriot Act drove a stake through the heart of the Bill of Rights, undermined civil liberties, expanded the government’s powers and opened the door to far-reaching surveillance by the government on American citizens.

Pre-emptive strikes will only lead to further blowback. Not content to wage war against Afghanistan, which served as the base for Osama bin Laden, the U.S. embarked on a pre-emptive war against Iraq in order to “stop any adversary challenging America’s military superiority and adopt a strike-first policy against terrorist threats ‘before they’re fully formed.’” We are still suffering the consequences of this failed policy, which resulted in lives lost, taxpayer dollars wasted, the fomenting of hatred against the U.S. and the further radicalization of terrorist cells.”

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” ― Frédéric Bastiat, French economist

Pay no heed to the circus politics coming out of Washington DC. It’s just more of the same grandstanding by tone-deaf politicians oblivious to the plight of the citizenry.

Don’t allow yourselves to be distracted by the competing news headlines cataloging the antics of the ruling classes. While they are full of sound and fury, they are utterly lacking in substance.

Tune out the blaring noise of meaningless babble. It is intended to drown out the very real menace of a government which is consumed with squeezing every last penny out of the population.

Focus instead on the steady march of the police state at both the national, state and local levels, and the essential freedoms that are being trampled underfoot in its single-minded pursuit of power.

While the overt and costly signs of the despotism exercised by the increasingly authoritarian regime that passes itself off as the United States government are all around us—warrantless surveillance of Americans’ private phone and email conversations by the FBI, NSA, etc.; SWAT team raids of Americans’ homes; shootings of unarmed citizens by police; harsh punishments meted out to schoolchildren in the name of zero tolerance; drones taking to the skies domestically; endless wars; out-of-control spending; militarized police; roadside strip searches; privatized prisons with a profit incentive for jailing Americans; fusion centers that collect and disseminate data on Americans’ private transactions; and militarized agencies with stockpiles of ammunition, to name some of the most appalling—you rarely hear anything about them from the politicians, the corporations or the news media.

So what’s behind the blackout of real news?

Surely, if properly disclosed and consistently reported on, the sheer volume of the government’s activities, which undermine the Constitution and dance close to the edge of outright illegality, would give rise to a sea change in how business is conducted in our seats of power.

Yet when we’re being bombarded with wall-to-wall news coverage and news cycles that change every few days, it’s difficult to stay focused on one thing—namely, holding the government accountable to abiding by the rule of law—and the powers-that-be understand this.

As with most things, if you want to know the real motives behind any government program, follow the money trail.

When you dig down far enough, you quickly find that those who profit from Americans being surveilled, fined, scanned, searched, probed, tasered, arrested and imprisoned are none other than the police who arrest them, the courts which try them, the prisons which incarcerate them, and the corporations, which manufacture the weapons, equipment and prisons used by the American police state.

These injustices, petty tyrannies and overt acts of hostility are being carried out in the name of the national good—against the interests of individuals, society and ultimately our freedoms—by an elite class of government officials working in partnership with megacorporations that are largely insulated from the ill effects of their actions.

Everywhere you go, everything you do, and every which way you look, we’re getting swindled, cheated, conned, robbed, raided, pickpocketed, mugged, deceived, defrauded, double-crossed and fleeced by governmental and corporate shareholders of the American police state out to make a profit at taxpayer expense.”

https://brushbeater.org/2023/09/28/251-philly-on-fire-the-invasion-is-underway-and-more-communications-questions-from-listeners/

“Are you among the 41% of Americans who regularly attend church or some other religious service?

Do you believe the economy is about to collapse and the government will soon declare martial law?

Do you display an unusual number of political and/or ideological bumper stickers on your car?

Are you among the 44% of Americans who live in a household with a gun? If so, are you concerned that the government may be plotting to confiscate your firearms?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may be an anti-government extremist (a.k.a. domestic terrorist) in the eyes of the government and flagged for heightened surveillance and preemptive intervention.

Let that sink in a moment.

If you believe in and exercise your rights under the Constitution (namely, your right to speak freely, worship freely, associate with like-minded individuals who share your political views, criticize the government, own a weapon, demand a warrant before being questioned or searched, or any other activity viewed as potentially anti-government, racist, bigoted, anarchic or sovereign), you have just been promoted to the top of the government’s terrorism watch list.

I assure you I’m not making this stuff up.

So what is the government doing about these so-called American “extremists”?

The government is grooming the American people to spy on each other as part of its Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, or CP3 program.

According to journalist Leo Hohmann, the government is handing out $20 million in grants to police, mental health networks, universities, churches and school districts to enlist their help in identifying Americans who might be political dissidents or potential “extremists.”

As Hohmann explains, “Whether it’s COVID and vaccines, the war in Ukraine, immigration, the Second Amendment, LGBTQ ideology and child-gender confusion, the integrity of our elections, or the issue of protecting life in the womb, you are no longer allowed to hold dissenting opinions and voice them publicly in America. If you do, your own government will take note and consider you a potential ‘violent extremist’ and terrorist.”

Cue the dawning of the Snitch State.

This new era of snitch surveillance is the lovechild of the government’s post-9/11 “See Something, Say Something” programs combined with the self-righteousness of a politically correct, hyper-vigilant, technologically-wired age.

For more than two decades, the Department of Homeland Security has plastered its “See Something, Say Something” campaign on the walls of metro stations, on billboards, on coffee cup sleeves, at the Super Bowl, even on television monitors in the Statue of Liberty. Colleges, universities and even football teams and sporting arenas have lined up for grants to participate in the program.

The government has even designated September 25 as National “If You See Something, Say Something” Awareness Day.

If you see something suspicious, says the DHS, say something about it to the police, call it in to a government hotline, or report it using a convenient app on your smart phone.

This DHS slogan is nothing more than the government’s way of indoctrinating “we the people” into the mindset that we’re an extension of the government and, as such, have a patriotic duty to be suspicious of, spy on, and turn in our fellow citizens.

This is what is commonly referred to as community policing.

Yet while community policing and federal programs such as “See Something, Say Something” are sold to the public as patriotic attempts to be on guard against those who would harm us, they are little more than totalitarian tactics dressed up and repackaged for a more modern audience as well-intentioned appeals to law and order and security.

The police state could not ask for a better citizenry than one that carries out its own policing.”

More About Hot Peppers/Hot Sauce

Posted: September 13, 2023 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

All of my peppers are grown from heirloom seeds, and I save seeds for the next year’s crop.

I may save enough seeds to have some to sell, if not this year – for sure next year.

All my hot sauces are made by me, from peppers I grow. No chemicals added – just peppers, vinegar, distilled water, and a little onion, garlic, carrot, and tomato – all fresh, all locally sourced – plus salt, and a little sugar in some sauces.

I will also be making a peach scorpion and peach habenero hot sauce. Fermenting the peppers with fresh peaches sweetens the sauce a bit, and somewhat takes the edge of the intense heat level.

About the peppers…

Bubblegum 7 pot –

The Bubblegum 7 pot is a fairly new hybrid chilli created by crossing a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the Trinidad 7 Pod Yellow. A delicious deep fruity pepper that packs a punch way beyond its scoville rating. Very much like a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion but the cap or crown bleeds red! Fruity, delicious and extremely HOT!! 800,000 Scoville Units

Death spiral –

Death Spiral is a hybrid of a Naga Bubblegum (over 1,000,000 SHU) and a Naga Viper (900,000 to 1,382,118 SHU.) It’s a child of extremes, and 100% a child who acts out in the brattiest of ways. The burn hits the front of your mouth quickly, so there’s no doubt as to the spiciness held within. There’s little build up before the extreme heat lands.

Broadhead –

“Named after its resemblance to a broadhead arrow tip, this is a Reaper crossed with a Bhut, further crossed with a Bhut to Trinidad scorpion hybrid. As of 2020, this is now an F9, fairly stable cross. Resembles the look of the original Bhut Jolokia, however, hotter and the shape is very triangular, pods are large. Because of hybrid vigor, these plants grow to be more resilient. In our trials, plants produced roughly 20% more peppers by weight in the season than the best of our Bhut Jolokias. If you are a Ghost Pepper lover, this is definitely a pepper worth trying.”

Above description of Broadhead pepper from https://www.sherwoodsseeds.com/ – where I bought 1st years seeds.

Jigsaw –

The Jigsaw pepper is a stable cross of a Moruga Scorpion and a Naga Morich, both super-hots of their own esteem. They are take-your-breath-away hot and have that Trinidad Scorpion flavor. If you are a true hot pepper enthusiast, you need to be growing this pepper.

I’m sure everyone knows about Habenero, Jalepeno, Seranno, Trinidad and Moruga scorpion, Hungarian hot peppers.

One other thing I’m working on is a few new strains of hot peppers. It takes time – a lot of time to get a stable cross. The original crosses are in process. As long as those few peppers mature, and I get viable seeds – I’ll start seeds inside early enough to be able to grow 2 generations next year.

The growing hot peppers, crossbreeding hot peppers , making Hot Sauce etc. is my retirement plan…can’t just sit around the house.
