All this oil-when gas hit $4.00 a gallon,oil was at $150.00 a barrel.
So now-gas should be under $2.00 a gallon.
Why isn’t it?

From Wolf Richter, at wolfstreet.com:

“The market is flooded with oil and everyone is desperate to sell quickly, so you have a price war,” a marine-fuel trader in Singapore, the largest ship refueling hub in the world, told Reuters as prices for bunker fuel oil are plunging.

OPEC, which produces about 40% of global oil supply, announced on June 5 to “maintain” output at 30 million barrels per day for the next six months. Six days later, the IEA’s Oil Market Report for June clarified that “Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates pumped at record monthly rates” in May and boosted OPEC output to 31.3 million barrels per day, the highest since October 2012, and over 1 MMbpd above target for the third month in a row. OPEC will likely continue pumping at this rate “in coming months,” the IEA said.

“We have plenty of crude,” explained…

Arkansas has pretty permissive gun laws. It does not require handgun owners to obtain licenses, does not ban so-called assault weapons, issues concealed-carry permits to anyone who meets a short list of objective criteria, accepts carry permits issued by other states, and since 2013 arguably allows people to openly carry handguns without a permit.

Although Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas from 1983 to 1992, he and his wife, the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, prefer a decidedly more restrictive approach. On Sunday the former president highlighted the couple’s disdain for the right to armed self-defense by declaring that “you can’t have a bunch of people walking around with guns.” The Second Amendment says otherwise.

Clinton made that comment in an interview on CNN’s State of the Union, in response to a question about Baltimore’s high unemployment rate. He was trying to explain the unrest in that city and others where police have been accused of using excessive force.

Given the context, you might surmise that Clinton favors disarming the police. But instead he seemed to be talking about guns carried by young black men, which he likened to guns carried by combatants in European civil wars.

“I used to tell people when we did Bosnia, Kosovo, anything like that,” Clinton said. “You get enough people with weapons around, and there will be unintended consequences. People make mistakes. People do wrong. Things happen.”

According to Clinton, if “you get enough people with weapons around,” the result is bound to be ugly: a shockingly high homicide rate and general disorder, if not ethnic cleansing and genocide. Yet we know that’s not true.

Beginning with Florida in 1987, one state after another has adopted Arkansas-style nondiscretionary carry permit policies, which 38 states now have; four others do not require a permit. It is clear by now that making it easier to legally possess guns in public does not lead to blood flowing in the streets. Although the argument that more guns means less crime remains controversial, there is very little evidence that loosening the rules for carrying guns in public leads to more violence.

Clinton’s remarks raise a constitutional question as well as an empirical one. The position that “you can’t have a bunch of people walking around with guns” is plainly inconsistent with the Second Amendment’s command that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Even when Democrats concede a constitutional right to own a gun, they tend to ignore that second part.

The Democratic Party’s platform in 1992, when Clinton was elected to his first term, called for stricter gun control while eschewing “efforts to restrict weapons used for legitimate hunting and sporting purposes.” Four years later, when Clinton won a second term, the Democrats bragged about the new gun restrictions he had championed, including an “assault weapon” ban and a new background check system, while again disclaiming any desire to “restrict weapons used for legitimate sporting purposes.”

Neither platform said anything about self-defense, let alone the right to bear arms for that purpose. Nor did the platforms adopted in 2000, 2004, 2008, or 2012, although the latter three did mention “the Second Amendment right to own and use firearms.”

According to the Clintons, that right can be exercised only with the government’s permission. In 1999 Bill said people should have to “register guns like they register their cars.” Hillary likewise has supported national licensing and registration of firearms. Although she repudiated that position in 2008, her continuing support for “background checks that work” would require much the same system to keep track of who owns which firearms.

Even as the former secretary of state tries to avoid alienating gun owners, her words give her away. Last year, referring to supporters of a robust Second Amendment, she declared that “we cannot let a minority of people…hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.” The First Amendment says otherwise.

h/t The Grey Enigma

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – It’s high-tech and certainly controversial, but with the two prisoners from the Clinton Correctional Facility still on the lam an upstate senator says one way to track future escapees is to microchip them.

Bloodhounds and expensive manhunts are so yesterday when it comes to hunting escaped prisoners. That’s the opinion of one lawmaker, who says the state should explore implanting tiny GPS devices under convicts’ skin.

Others say microchipping criminals could have multiple uses, CBS2’s Marcia Kramer reported Tuesday.

“If you’ve got convicted murderers, the type of people these two men are, that it would make some good sense at that level that we should have something that we could track them,” said State Sen. Kathy Marchione, R-Saratoga.

With 800 law enforcement officials still unable to pick up the trail of escaped murderers Richard Matt and David Sweat, the suggestion from Marchione to implant microchips in people convicted of serious crimes is picking up steam.

“I’m in favor of it, but I do think there have to parameters with respect to the crime itself. I wouldn’t do it for arson, which falls under the violent, but I would do it for aggravated rape and murder,” said Paul Viollis, a security expert and former investigator in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

“I see the public safety value in it, not just from an escape standpoint but also from an inmate-control perspective within the institution,” said Jon Shane, a professor at John Jay College.

The New York Civil Liberties Union said microchipping inmates is unconstitutional.

“It sounds like a knee-jerk reaction. They should plug the security inside prisons,” said NYCLU Executive Director Donna Lieberman. “As a constitutional matter, it won’t survive a challenge because it’s an invasion of body autonomy.”

Shane, a former cop, said it might pass constitutional muster if the chip was removed if and when a prisoner is released.

“Removing it when they are paroled, those sorts of things, transitioning from a microchip to an ankle monitor, are all going to have to be explored,” Shane said.

Kramer asked local residents what they think, and the responses were split.

“It wouldn’t do any harm, I guess. They do it with dogs,” one man said.

“It opens a whole can of worms. I think it would be a little bit extreme,” added Kurt Clarke of the Bronx.

“I think that might be a good idea, maybe it’ll work,” said Andrew Passero of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

“I heard about it in other parts of the world, so I would say yes,” said Beata Perrasi of the Upper West Side.

“It feels very inhumane to do that, but sometimes these people need it,” Forest Hills’ Bridget Westermeier added.

“Once we go down this path we’re going to start microchipping all of us, which I think some people in Albany would like to do,” said Paul Insermann of East Flatbush.

There’s also the question of whether the microchip could be cut out the minute the inmate escaped. Experts say the chips would be embedded in the neck, underneath six or seven layers of skin. So simply cutting it out without medical assistance would pose a significant health risk, Kramer reported.

(First of all, my humble apologies for going without an update in so long. I hope to be much more regular with these updates once the Arms Expo is over.)

We are only a few short days from the Expo now. Seven months of preparations, seven months of planning and strategizing all come down to this weekend. It is a venture made for and by the patriots, and we are humbled to see how many people across the country are giving of their time, efforts and money to ensure its success. We are also incredibly grateful to God. Whoever thought that an event of this size could not be planned and organized by only four people simply does not understand the power of divine intervention. We know it exists…because we’ve seen it over and over during this process.

There is an event between now and the expo, however, and we await it with a quiet contemplation and—if we are honest—a little dread. On Thursday, Anthony Bosworth—one of our own—will stand again in federal court in Spokane, charged with “failure to comply with a lawful order.” While the appearance is being billed as a simple status hearing, those of us familiar with the case know it may be anything but simple.

So far, the court has refused him a trial by jury, and even refused to tell him what lawful order he failed to comply with. In reality, the facts of the case are beyond clear: He was arrested for violating a law that did not exist, by a US Marshal drunk on his own perceived authority, and his arrest was used as a pretext for intimidation, threats, and further violation of Anthony’s inherent Constitutional rights. To those who would challenge this characterization, I offer you the following questions to answer:

– Why did a federal judge need to “expand” current federal law after Anthony’s arrest if his action was already violating a law as they claim?

– Why did this judge literally “make” law, thereby stepping outside of her legal and constitutional boundaries of power?

– Why were none of the other armed citizens at the event harassed or arrested?

– Why was Anthony denied right to counsel over and over while in custody, and why was he held as a domestic terrorist, interrogated by the FBI about patriot activities and the Liberty movement?

These questions have answers, but they are difficult and hard truths. They are truths that the average American (and even some who call themselves patriots) cannot bring themselves to fathom. We must do more than fathom, however. We must accept, prepare for, and answer those truths.

Tomorrow night, Anthony Bosworth may be sitting in a federal jail cell, denied of his rights simply because he followed the Constitution. Simply because of what he believes, and what he stands for. What goes through a man’s mind in the days and hours before such a confrontation? What would go through yours?

During his interrogation the federal agent told him that his wife and children were safe…”for now.” The federal government has already shown that it has no problem putting a bullet through the head of a woman holding a baby while standing on her front porch. It has no problem mass murdering men, women and even children on US soil.  Do you really think it will not harm us if we get in its way? Do you really think that you can keep safe by staying “under the radar”, or by compliance with their tyrannical edicts?

Tomorrow a citizen will stand in front of a federal judge and uphold Liberty at all costs. Do you have that level of fortitude? Or are you going to stay home this weekend, afraid to attend an event where unconstitutional state law is violated and armed citizens stand in defiance of tyranny?

Mark Twain once said that the two most important days in your life are the day you’re born…and the day you realize why. We are born as free men and women, with a spirit that can be unbreakable, that can rise above fear and stand in spite of anything—if we only have the guts. Our forefathers bought our freedom with their blood. Let us honor that sacrifice, that precious gift. Let us carry the tradition forward and purchase Liberty for our own children and grandchildren.

The Expo offers some of the best training you will find anywhere in the country. Take advantage of it. Talk to some of the most influential minds in the Liberty movement. Develop your network. Spend some time with people who are willing to stand at all costs. You will either be energized, inspired…or you will realize that you don’t love Liberty as much as you claim.

We are standing. Today, tomorrow, and always. Stand with us.

We will not comply.

Senate GOP bill combats Obama environmental agenda

Posted: June 17, 2015 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

WASHINGTON (AP) — A GOP-controlled Senate panel on Tuesday approved a $31 billion spending bill slashing the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget by more than $500 million and seeking to block the agency on clean air and water regulations, global warming, and hydraulic fracturing to extract oil and gas from federal lands.

When will we peasants revolt? From Simon Black, at Sovereign Man blog, via zerohedge.com:

In the history of post-Norman monarchs in the UK there have been nine Henrys. Eight Edwards. Four Williams. Four Georges. And three Richards.

Yet there was only one John.

In fact, in nearly 1,000 years since William the Conqueror took England in 1066, John was the only King to never have his name repeated.

And with reason. He wasn’t exactly a popular guy, widely despised by his people and nobles alike.

John constantly taxed and plundered his subjects to finance pointless wars abroad. He extorted them with ever-increasing fines and imprisoned people for absurd, victimless crimes.

He used his local police (sheriffs) to confiscate private property under threat of violence, building them into the most feared and powerful force in the kingdom.

According to Harry Buffardi’s book “The History of the Office of the Sheriff”, King…

The US military is now training with police forces to fight the drug war. It was reported recently that the National Guard has been teaming up with police departments across the country, to train for drug raids, and other prohibition-related policing.

The primary location being used by these forces is Atterbury-Muscatatuck, a training facility in Indiana that is operated by the Department of Defense.

Sergeant Lou Perras of the Indiana State Police told reporters that the new alliance was intended to “bridge the gap between the DOD and non-DOD organizations.”

Perras also admitted that this training would be geared towards marijuana.

This military force to combat marijuana comes on the heels of  states all across the country lowering their penalties in marijuana cases. It also comes despite the incoming DEA chief saying that the agency will no longer focus on marijuana. Chuck Rosenberg, a former administrator at the FBI, claimed that instead of attacking marijuana users and sellers, that he wants to “improve the DEA’s procedures on classifying, declassifying and reclassifying drugs,” as the new chief of the DEA.

Sadly, this new move to bring the military into the drug war seems to contradict that statement.

“The National Guard has a unique skill set of assets, and personnel and training, so it allows us to gain that knowledge in those assets from the National Guard to better protect our citizens of the state,” Perras said.

However, using military forces for local policing efforts is a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which makes it illegal for military police to patrol on American soil and conduct raids. Although, this law is commonly broken in times of protest and during manhunts.

In a large number of police brutality incidents and police murders, the victim is not attacking police but is attempting to run away from them. This is a simple act of self-preservation, that may be risky, but it is entirely understandable and well within a person’s rights.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of Americans believe that running away from police is an offense that justifies murder, or any other type of violent response that the officer may choose.

People call it “stupid” or “wrong” to run away from police, but who in their right mind would stick around knowing that they are about to be kidnapped for a victimless “crime,” taken to a filthy dungeon and eventually robbed for thousands of dollars when they are finally released?

Running away from the police is no different than running away from a mugger or a violent criminal. It may not be wise to run from a mugger if you don’t have any chance of getting away. It may be the better decision to hand over all your money and hope for the best, but if you have a good chance of running and getting away, you should take that opportunity. This same rule applies to police. If a person thinks that they have the ability to get away without being apprehended than that is absolutely the smartest thing for them to do.
