Brought up in the Red Menace days, the stories about their “thought police” used to make me quite sad for anyone living in the Eastern Bloc.
Though one thing is absolutely clear about living in the Untied (not a typo) Kingdom.
There is little freedom to move, live, or communicate without being under scrutiny.
Disarmed, living under political correctness and forced multiculturalism, every facet of life is recorded digitally, cataloged and then that data sold on to big business.
Your money isn’t your own, and freedom of expression (let alone thought) is regarded as “subversive” if not criminal.
Add the draconian laws which favor alien nationalities and their faiths above that of the indigenous population, we truly are a nation of proles.
Just think, some people actually WANT to come to live here.
