This is the accident my daughter was in. Police investigation is ongoing,from what they told us,they believe the guy was going a lot faster than the speed limit.
Amy is in intensive care after the 6 hour long surgery yesterday to repair the broken bones in her ankle.
She will not be able to put any weight at all on her ankle for at least 3 months,and it will be a year before she will be able to stand long enough to go back to work.
She will need help at home for the 3 months,so my son in law isn’t going to be able to work unless someone can stay with Amy and the kids during the daytime.
We’re working on that now,between all of our kids,my wife and myself,along with son in law’s family we should be able to cover taking care of Amy and the kids so the son in law can work.
