    That’s worrying because I multitask (lots of different sessions running on the laptop the whole time.
    Methinks a change of operating is called for.
    That and a hell of a lot more TOR time.

      I wouldn’t trust TOR all that much- our CIA and DARPA had their slimy paws in creating the onion router.

        OK, but where did he get his Intel from?
        After all it was false Intel that launched the Iraq war and worse later on.
        BUT JIC I emailed a knowledgeable source I know (a real relic of the cyber wars 80’s style) about this claim,
        He burst out laughing LALALOL (lots and lots of laughter) sort of thing.
        Yes Tor was hacked, and is constantly under attack by “Big Brother”, just like everything in the world is.
        Only to think they just stand back and shrug their shoulders about it is misplaced thinking.
        Besides as was pointed out by him for the umpteen million time, as I’m a really slow learner, nothing is totally secure and I was reminded again (and in 28 pitch) “Never to send in plain text something you don’t want an anonymous jacker to know”.
        A jacker? That’s a really old school surveillance term for someone who listens to all for another without disclosing their presence.
        That seems a reasonable self preservation suggestion to me. After all encryption is always the best policy, on an open line or one that is claimed to be secure.
        Anyway, short of using peer to peer the whole time which I do but is still interceptible, the pigeons are getting tired flying my messages around 🙂
