I recently read an article in the July 22nd issue of the New American magazine by William F. Jasper about CFR ties to what passes for the news media in this country today. Such ties are rather extensive and they are not only visible on the left side of the political spectrum, but they go all across the board.

Jasper noted one Richard Harwood, who, back in 1993, wrote an article called Ruling Class Journalists “…in which he confirmed the existence of the Deep State, the unelected, unaccountable permanent government that has usurped control over our country.”

Harwood, in his article, pointed the finger at the CFR, and he corrected observed that it is “the nearest thing we have to a ruling establishment  in the United States.” Jasper tells us that “Harwood, who was himself a CFR member…
