In the class description,I stated that a friend was going to assist me with a portion of the class.
The gentleman is now going to be present,and taking an active role in teaching the entire class,and will be doing the same for class II and class III.
We’ve both taught classes in the past,and have similar experience and knowledge.
Gary is far more knowledgeable than I am as far as baking goes,as he went on to become a pastry chef,and spent years creating desserts for area hotels,country clubs and restaurants.
He will be the instructor for all things baking-breads,cakes,biscquits, muffins,pies,tarts,tortes-and whatever else Gary comes up with. I’ll leave that part of the class up to him.
Those taking the class will still be making the actual desserts for lunch and dinner,as well as all the food for lunch and dinner.
Having two different guys explaining the basics that are required knowledge,and that all cooking is based on does make quite a bit of difference in how much students retain from the class,as no two people teach the exact same way.

Getting there-every little bit helps,please consider kicking in a few $$$,even if the funds for Shaylyn get raised $1.00 at a time-they still get raised,and that is the point.
I know money is tight for many of us-myself included,I couldn’t afford much,but I sent it,and am sending more.
So this is where it all started
I was at work on Oct. 21st when I got a call from my wife
I was doing irrigation service right around the corner from home (Thank God) and it was the call that no man ever wants to get
Her son who was 38 had just been killed in a high speed car accident outside of Tampa
I say her son because even though we have been married for 26 Yrs. I did very little raising of him
But anyway, that was the start
Then, the week before Christmas our Daughter Shaylyn who is 36 calls to inform my wife that she has adrenal cancer
Bear in mind that she has 2 children and just lost her brother
I say ours because even though she is not my blood, I have raised her since age 8 as my daughter

Mr LaVoy Finicum, recently executed for the crimes of trespassing and squatting, is a published author as many of you know. His book is called ‘Only by Blood and Suffering’ and is available on Kindle for $6.99. I will provide a link at the bottom.
I don’t know of a website or fund yet to help his survivors but when I do I’ll publish it. If one of you know of one already set up and running, please let me know in the comments.
But what we can do in the meantime is to buy a copy of the man’s book. He’s still getting paid whether he’s dead or alive. I don’t know if the federales have seized or put a hold on his family’s accounts, but if they have, they gotta release them sometime.
You’ll see at the link that the book’s available for free on Amazon Prime, but that doesn’t give the family any relief. Pay the 7 bucks.
Not only will buying the book put money into his family’s coffers, it will help to keep his name and memory alive. I believe it was the Greeks who said that a man is immortal as long as his name is remembered.

During a phone call with Pete Santilli, Pete can be overheard saying, “Blaine, please don’t do this.” Blaine is reportedly wanting to make a stand. Women and children are still at the Refuge.
1821L: According to local government officials, Ryan Payne suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the Burns hospital.

KATU is reporting “Federal law enforcement officers converged on the wildlife refuge after the arrests and were expected to remain at the site throughout the night. It was unclear how many members of the armed group, if any, were at the refuge when the law enforcement officers arrived.”
