“There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law and in the name of justice.”—Montesquieu, Enlightenment philosopher

For those wondering what to expect from the government in 2023, it looks like we’re going to be in for more of the same in terms of the government’s brand of madness, mayhem, corruption and brutality.

Digital prisons.Unceasingly, the government and its corporate partners are pushing for a national digital ID system. Local police agencies have already been given access to facial recognition software and databases containing 20 billion images, the precursor to a digital ID. Eventually, a digital ID will be required to gain access to all aspects of life: government, work, travel, healthcare, financial services, shopping, etc. Before long, biometrics (iris scans, face print, voice, DNA, etc.), will become the de facto digital ID.

Precrime.Under the pretext of helping overwhelmed government agencies…

A Gift From Communist China

There has been much concern over all the illegal drugs crossing our Southern border and finding their way into this country. One drug that has been a major concern has been fentanyl. Lots of that miserable stuff has been pumped into this country and it has killed lots of people.

One thing seldom talked about, though, is one of its main sources. According to one person interviewed on Fox News on New Years Day, much of the fentanyl reaching this country via Mexico has been shipped in from Communist China. It’s Red China’s “gift” to a hopefully dumbed down American public.

Biden’s response, when he can break away from his golf game in St. Croix, is to just continue to let all the illega aliens in anyway, even the ones financed by the drug cartels. If they can just make it into this country he can…

“When the song of the angels is stilled, when the star in the sky is gone, when the kings and princes are home, when the shepherds are back with their flocks, the work of Christmas begins: to find the lost, to heal the broken, to feed the hungry, to release the prisoner, to rebuild the nations, to bring peace among the people, to make music in the heart.”—Howard Thurman, theologian and civil rights activist

The Christmas story of a baby born in a manger is a familiar one.

The Roman Empire, a police state in its own right, had ordered that a census be conducted. Joseph and his pregnant wife Mary traveled to the little town of Bethlehem so that they could be counted. There being no room for the couple at any of the inns, they stayed in a stable (a barn), where Mary gave birth to a baby…

Philosophical Marxists And Don’t Know It

by Al Benson Jr.

Without their even realizing it, many people have imbibed the philosophy of Karl Marx. Given the utter corruption of our public education system, this should come as no surprise. Mark Levin, on Fox News, noted that many of Marx’s ideas were not original with him. That is true. Although Levin did not mention the Illuminati in this regard, we know that Marx got his marching orders, especially for the “Communist Manifesto” from the League of the Just, which was an offshoot of the Illuminati. Those people were largely responsible for Marx’s worldview.

Although Levin got this at least partly right he is off in some of his U.S. history. He seems to think the North fought the War of Northern Aggression to end slavery. In tjhis he is out in left field. But then most of the media and the vast majority of our schools, both…

Junk on the Bunk: Clothing layers for Cold Weather

It’s wintertime again and that means warm clothing becomes a priority anytime I’m outside. While many clothes are warm, not all clothes are appropriate for use when we are in the bush. By virtue of the fact that I’ve lived and worked in cold weather for most of my life I’ve had the chance to experiment and learn a great deal about dressing effectively for it.

There’s a few factors I consider now when it comes to selecting my clothing (not in any order):

  • Cost
  • Durability
  • Moisture wicking priorities of the material
  • Thermal insulating properties of the material
  • How wind proof is the material
  • How waterproof is the material
  • Weight of the item
  • Packability of the item
  • Venting abilities of the item
  • Ease of donning/ doffing the item
  • Ease of maintenance of the item

So that’s quite a few factors to consider, but luckily most high quality gear will be…

The Rifleman’s Essentials

I’ve helped many people set up their combat equipment over the years, from family to students to fellow Marines. Earlier I wrote an article entitled “Priorities of Purchase: Progressively Building a Rifleman’s Kit on a Budget“, in which I laid out the order in which an aspiring rifleman should purchase gear. In that article I started with what I call the rifleman’s essentials, the bare minimum equipment necessary for a rifleman to carry on his person. Today I want to go a bit deeper into these essentials, listing why they are important and how I recommend you carry them.

Ammunition

This is the first and most obvious of the rifleman’s essentials. A rifleman, who carries a rifle, must carry additional ammunition for that rifle. This ammunition must be loaded into magazines (or stripper clips, if you’re running a vintage bolt gun) so that the rifle may be reloaded…

The Constitution Has Already Been Terminated

“That was when they suspended the Constitution. They said it would be temporary.”—Margaret Atwood,The Handmaid’s Tale

If there is one point on which there should be no political parsing, no legal jockeying, and no disagreement, it is this: for anyoneto advocate terminating or suspending the Constitutionis tantamount to a declaration of war against the founding principles of our representative government and the rule of law.

Then again, one could well make the case that the Constitution has already been terminated after years on life support, given the extent to which the safeguards enshrined in the Bill of Rights—adopted 231 years ago as a means of protecting the people against government overreach and abuse—have been steadily chipped away at, undermined, eroded, whittled down, and generally discarded with the support of Congress, the White House, and the courts.

Consider for yourself.

We are in the grip of martial law.

Are They Asking the Right Question?

Human beings are potential killers. Humans have been killing humans since we were either created or crawled out of the primordial soup. Humans have killed other humans using heavy objects, sharpened steel, hands and yes, guns. The capability to end another’s life is inside every human, but most never feel the need, or even act on that felling if they do have it. If you were to believe the hyperbole from the left, firearms are what make humans dangerous. They perpetrate a false narrative that firearms cause more deaths than any item ever invented.

Every year tens of thousands of humans are poisoned (most accidentally with bad prescriptions or tainted illegal drugs), die in car accidents or weight-related complications (diabetes, heart attacks, etc.).

ac-dc-dis2-1-1024x1024-1You will sacrifice and sacrifice until there’s nothing left to sacrifice.

If we’re all responsible to everybody, what’s in it for you? How does it work, exactly? Can you claim anything—your production, property, expression, body, mind, life, or soul—for yourself? If you can’t, if everyone else has first claim to them, what can you claim for yourself? Do you give up everything for our eight billion fellow earth-citizens as they give up everything for you? Do you get one eight-billioneth of what’s nominally everyone else’s? Or is this supposed to be pure sacrifice—give up everything and receive nothing in return? If you give up everything, is there any you left?

It’s best not to think about such questions, they won’t get you anywhere but confused. What you do know is what you’ve been told your entire life: everything you do for others is good; everything you do for yourself is…
