The Democrats could greatly help their own cause if they seriously considered why people vote for Trump, instead of just casting aspersion at those voters. From Bruce E. Levine at counterpunch.org:

Getting rid of Trump means taking seriously “shit-life syndrome”—and its resulting misery, which includes suicide, drug overdose death, and trauma for surviving communities.

My state of Ohio is home to many shit-life syndrome sufferers. In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton lost Ohio’s 18 electoral votes to Trump. She got clobbered by over 400,000 votes (more than 8%). She lost 80 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Trump won rural poorer counties, several by whopping margins. Trump got the shit-life syndrome vote.

Will Hutton in his 2018 Guardian piece, “The Bad News is We’re Dying Early in Britain – and It’s All Down to ‘Shit-Life Syndrome’” describes shit-life syndrome…

The new leftist governor of Virginia plans to rigidly enforce new gun control proposals but there seem to be other laws in Virginia that he will just look the other way in regard to. You might consider this hypocrisy but you have to remember this new governor is a cultural Marxist and so his agenda is to enforce laws that will contribute to the spread of Marxist tendencies in Virginia and sort of ignore some of those laws that will not. To normal folks this constitutes hypocrisy but to the cultural Marxist it makes perfect sense. Learn to understand how they think.

Back on 12/12/19 there was an article on https://bearingarms.com that noted comments by C. Todd Gilbert, the outgoing house majority leader.  The article said: “Gilbert also says Northam is a hypocrite for saying counties will face…

“The people have the power, all we have to do is awaken that power in the people. The people are unaware. They’re not educated to realize that they have power. The system is so geared that everyone believes the government will fix everything. We are the government.”—John Lennon

Twenty years into the 21st century, and what do we have to show for it?

Government corruption, tyranny and abuse have propelled us at warp speed towards a full-blown police state in which egregious surveillance, roadside strip searches, police shootings of unarmed citizens, censorship, retaliatory arrests, the criminalization of lawful activities, warmongering, indefinite detentions, SWAT team raids, asset forfeiture, police brutality, profit-driven prisons, and pay-to-play politicians have become the new normal.

Here’s just a small sampling of the laundry list of abuses—cruel, brutal, immoral, unconstitutional and unacceptable—that have been heaped upon us by the government over the past two decades.

Portents

Posted: December 29, 2019 by gamegetterII in Uncategorized

“Disinformation campaigns – it has become obvious that there are several disinformation campaigns going on. The Steele Dossier might be the most innocent of those because it was aimed at the press and high level political stuff. But look, in a global world, where trolls can be had for very cheap abroad, and where the opinion making is moving off the main stream media and onto blogs and websites, the enemies of the US both internal and external (FYI most of them are a continuum, honestly) WILL use cheap trolls for disinformation but more importantly to shape mood and influence reactions (Facebook ran studies on this since 2015. WHAT do you think it’s being used for?)

We’re no longer in the land of the copy-pasta trolls we’ve all known since 9/11. These are highly sophisticated and can make softheads of some fairly smart and influential people.

You can tell it’s a campaign though through several signals:

The first and most important is that it comes LITERALLY out of nowhere. I.e. it might be a perennial issue, and one the right roughly agrees on, but suddenly it’s EVERYWHERE at once.”

“To me, the portents suggest that the New Year will feature steadily intensifying social, economic, and political combat. Thrusts of all kinds – rhetorical, electoral, legislative, and executive – would become ever more vicious. It could erupt into a low-grade war, in which persons on the Left are literally at cudgels with us in the Right, rather than figuratively as it’s been up to now. We’ve already had enough assaults by “AntiFa” on persons in the Right who assembled to express themselves. Remember, also, that various commentators on the Left defended those assaults as somehow “justified” in opposition to “hate speech” or “fascism.” ”

Things to Consider Re: VCDL Lobby Day

“My initial response to hearing the call for protest on January 20 in Richmond, VA, was to saddle up about a dozen buddies, rent a 15-passenger van, and go. Seriously, show up and be part of the presence. Our gut reactions to such things are to join and support those of like heart and mind. But after a moment taken to pause and consider, I’m staying home.
Call me what you will, but hear me out first. Harken back to Charlottesville, and what happened there. Read Matt Bracken’s Professor Raoul X and realize how easy it would be for the opposition (the Left, Antifa, FedGov….pick your player) to plant a false flag, or two, or five, in digital camo among the protesters. And how would that go for our side?”

The Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement continues to grow. It is interesting in that it is a little different due to conditions in each state that it flourishes in.

In Virginia you now have a leftist governor and state legislature, no doubt to the influence and money of Michael Bloomberg. In Kentucky you have a new Democratic governor but the legislature is not necessarily in his corner and though there are Democrats waiting in the wings there with a whole raft of new gun control bills there is no guarantee that they will automatically get all they want. In fact, we can fervently pray that they get none of what they want.

Then there is Texas, “the lone star State of Texas” one of our favorite spots in the country. Guns have pretty much been a way of life…

1775 . . . Again? by Eric Peters

America’s well past due for another revolution. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

When people desperately trying to avoid a fight are left no choice but to fight, they are often the fiercest fighters imaginable.

The reason being an explosion of righteous anger – of berserker fury – directed at the bullies who will not leave them be.

Governor “Coonman” Northam of Virginia is such a bully.

He intends to rescind the current, ancient and long-acknowledged legal right of Virginians  who aren’t criminals to possess more than single shot rifles and pistols – by criminalizing anyone who does possess them.

These newly minted “criminals” will then be required to turn in their formerly legal firearms to the government or be subject to Hut! Hut! Hutting! by armed government workers sent by the Coonman to enforce his criminal acts.
