I have not always agreed with Attorney General William Barr’s assessment of all events. He thought the prosecution of Roger Stone for “lying to Congress” was righteous. I totally disagree there. Roger Stone was screwed by the system from the get-go, so Barr was way off on that one.

However, in his recent comments about what Communist China is trying to do to this country he is right on target.

According to the John Birch Society Barr gave a speech at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and he talked about how Red China is “engaged in an economic blitzkrieg” which intends taking over several key areas of our economy “such as the technology, pharmaceutical, and entertainment industries as a way of replacing the  U.S.  as the world’s leading superpower.”

NYC’s inspiring breakthrough in the science of contact tracing

“Contact tracing” is a tactic whereby public health officials attempt to track where you’ve been, and who you’ve been in contact with, in their efforts to contain a pandemic.

And we’ve seen a lot of contact tracing efforts lately.

New York City hired thousands of contact tracing specialists who are tasked with calling everyone who tests positive for Covid-19 and interviewing them to help identify who else they might have infected.

I have been away from the desk for some time now dealing with business issues, but it has given me the opportunity to draw some conclusions as I watched this pandemic go on.  There are some lessons to be learned. Just a few of my thoughts.

Panic buying.

Experienced preppers saw this coming, but it is a good object lesson. If so many people began panic buying in a relatively mild SHTF scenario, imagine their mental mindset if a extremely serious crisis occurred. The run on toilet paper is a classic example. Totally illogical. This virus had nothing to do with needing more toilet paper. But when talk of quarantine began immediately, people panic bought what they though they might need quantities of. And it is a snowball effect. Enough people panic bought to clear the shelves, and then other people assume they need to panic buy the same…

At the very least Barack Obama’s involvement in the Russiagate conspiracy needs thorough investigation. From David Harsanyl at news.yahoo.com:
